With significant recent property expansion, Karisma Hotels & Resorts was facing an increased demand for brand awareness and new bookings, targeting luxury consumers in key US markets. Alliance Connection was hired to search for and secure a strategic partnership that could provide the desired reach and access to new consumers.
Familiar with Simon Malls and their Simon Rewards program objectives, Alliance Connection recognized a great opportunity for Simon Malls to engage Rewards members, add value to their program and reduce rewards points on the books, while providing Karisma Hotels & Resorts with access to new consumers in key markets.
With agreement on the concept and offer structure, we then negotiated an exchange of valuable resort prize packages for exposure to Simon Malls' most loyal luxury customers through digital and print displays in 12 malls in 4 key markets, a robust email campaign, and social media activity.
Our overall approach helped Karisma increase brand awareness with retail exposure of beautiful Karisma Hotels & Resorts branded imagery, and by allowing Simon Rewards members to redeem points for vacation stays and sweepstake entries, we helped Simon Malls provide value to their loyal customer base and drive the engagement and point redemption they were looking for.
